A Square Deal Dice Game 1890’s

A Square Deal Dice Game 1890’s

This is an original “A Square Deal” dice box game manufactured by Keane Novelty of Chicago in the early 1890’s Before coin operated gambling machines came into being, saloons of that era often had mechanical dice machines such as this on their bar tops to entertain their patrons.

This Square Deal is in excellent condition for its age. It works perfectly. The 5 dice can be played all at once or the player has the option to choose which of the dice to shoot by flipping the levers at the top.

It has a cast iron cabinet with a thick glass top. The exterior probably had a Nickel plate finish at one time but it has worn off and it still looks good just as it is. There is no damage or cracks to the glass. The game is totally original with the exception that the front glass panel  is a reproduction with the “A Square Deal” logo.

Size is 7” X 7” X 4”.
