Cent A Smoke Daval Trade Stimulator 1930's

Cent A Smoke Gum Vendor

In the 1930's counter games like this one started offering cigarette packs as rewards. Line up three of a kind and win one to five packs of cigarettes. This machine also has the gumball feature for each coin played.  Manufactured by the Daval company, it must have been made to compete with the very similar  Buckley Mfg.  "Cent A Pack" machine. The Art Deco cabinet and mechanism has been totally restored. It has new cigarette pack reel strips, a new payout card, and new paint. All else is totally original.

In the 30's a pack of cigarettes cost about 15 cents. So the player could gamble a penny and win up to 10 packs of cigarettes. That's $1.50 win.( about $43 in today's world with inflation)

Excellent condition! Works great!
