5 Cent Griswold Mfg. Star Countertop Wheel Cigar Trade Stimulator manufactured in Rock Island Illionis.
In the early 1900's trade stimulators such as this Griswold Star were popular in many cigar stores and taverns around the country.
Patrons could buy a cigar for a Nickel or they could take a chance by inserting the Nickel in the STAR machine to try for two or more cigars.
 
This machine has a beautiful oak cabinet, it has a cast iron roulette type wheel and cast iron parts. The top sign is a reproduction.
