Groetchen Zephyr Slot Machine Trade Stimulator 1937

Here is a smaller size slot machine manufactured by the Groetchen Tool & Mfg, Co. To skirt around the 1930's gambling laws, these trade stimulators were designed to operate just like the casino slot machines with the exception that there is no coin payout. If the player succeeded in a winning play, the payout would be made by the store proprietor. This Zephyr works on any size coin up to a quarter. The last coin played is always visible in a window at the side. A gumball can be dispensed for each coin played.
 
The machine is in excellent condition. It has been cleaned, repaired, repainted,and fitted with new reels strips and award card.
