Mansfield Automatic Clerk Machine 1902

Here is a "State of the Art" 1902 gum dispensing machine manufactured by Automatic Clerk Co. of Newark N.J.. The machine is enclosed inside a clear glass case so the user can watch the mechanism as it works. When a nickel is inserted, it rings a bell as it falls and trips a lever flipping the next packet of gum out to be dispensed at the bottom. Check out my slow motion video.
 
This machine is all original with the exception of the beveled mirror top sign and the reproduction packets of gum. The nickel plated metal parts have been cleaned and polished. The mechanism works perfectly. An early machine age masterpiece.
